The Medusa Vase, Mini by 101 Copenhagen is a small sculptural vase inspired by the soft, organic forms of a jellyfish. The rounded body rests on a cluster of small conical legs, lifting the vase gently above the surface and recalling the delicate tentacles of the Medusa.

Even in this compact Mini size, Medusa has a strong presence: it can stand on its own as a small art object or hold a relaxed bouquet of flowers or dried stems. At Numa Home, we love using Medusa Mini on a side table, nightstand, vensterbank or console, and combining it with the larger Medusa Vase, Big for a layered composition in Dutch and Turkish interiors.

Each Medusa vase is made from ceramic and hand-glazed, which creates a soft, tactile surface with natural variations in colour and texture. No two pieces are exactly the same. The vase is not 100% waterproof, so for fresh flowers you should use the included inner bag or place a small glass container inside.

Because it is a handmade product, small differences and marks are part of the design and fit naturally with a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
