Shipping policy

At Numa Home, we carefully coordinate the delivery of each product to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition. As many of our items are made to order or specially configured, delivery timelines may vary.

Below you will find clear information regarding processing times, delivery estimates and responsibilities.


1. Order Processing Time

Ready to Ship Items

Products marked as “Ready to Ship” are typically dispatched within 4-5 business days after payment confirmation, depending on stock availability.

Made-to-Order & Custom Products

Products that are:

  • Made to order

  • Custom finished

  • Specially configured

  • Produced on demand

require a longer production period.

Estimated production times are indicated on the product page and typically range between:

8–12 weeks, depending on brand and configuration.

Production begins after order confirmation and payment.


2. Delivery Time

Delivery times start once your order has been dispatched.

The Netherlands

Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days

European Union

Estimated delivery: 2–7 business days, depending on destination country.

International (including Turkey)

Delivery times vary depending on customs clearance and local carrier operations.

Please note: customs procedures may cause delays beyond our control.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on:

  • Destination country

  • Package size and weight

  • Product type (fragile / oversized / pallet shipment)

For large or heavy items, additional freight arrangements may apply.


4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes (Non-EU Countries)

For orders shipped outside the European Union (including Turkey):

  • Import duties

  • VAT

  • Customs clearance fees

are the responsibility of the customer.

These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping costs.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority for further information before placing your order.


5. Delivery & Inspection

Upon delivery, we kindly ask you to:

  • Inspect the package immediately

  • Check for visible damage before signing or accepting delivery

  • Report any damage within 48 hours of delivery

If damage occurs during transport, please contact us at info@numahome.nl and include:

  • Order number

  • Photos of packaging

  • Photos of the damaged product

Failure to report transport damage within 48 hours may affect eligibility for replacement.


6. Electrical Products & Installation

All electrical products must be installed by a qualified professional.

Numa Home is not responsible for damages resulting from improper installation.


7. Delays & Force Majeure

While we carefully monitor production and delivery schedules, delays may occur due to:

  • Production delays from suppliers

  • Transport disruptions

  • Customs procedures

  • Force majeure events

In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible.


8. Split Shipments

If your order contains multiple items with different production times, we may ship them separately. You will receive tracking information for each shipment.


9. Tracking Information

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
