At Numa Home, we curate high-end design products and architectural hardware. To keep the process clear, our return policy depends on whether you purchase as a private consumer (B2C) or as a business/professional client (B2B), and whether the item is Ready to Ship or Made to Order.

1) B2C Returns (Private consumers)
14-day return window
If you are purchasing as a private consumer, you may request a return within 14 days after receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, uninstalled and undamaged

The item must be returned in original packaging, complete with all parts and accessories

The product must be in resale condition
Return shipping
Return shipping is arranged and paid by you.
How to request a return
Please email info@numahome.nl within 14 days of delivery and include:

Your order number
-
The product name(s)
-
The reason for return (optional but helpful)
We will confirm return instructions and the return address.
2) Condition of returned items & reduced refunds
You are welcome to inspect the product as you would in a physical store. However, if an item is returned in a condition that makes it unsuitable for resale—for example due to damage, missing parts, use, installation marks, or incomplete packaging—we may apply a reduction of the refund amount to reflect the reduced value.
Examples include:

Scratches, dents, chips or other damage

Missing parts, manuals, accessories or packaging

Signs of use or installation
-
Heavy handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product
We will always assess this fairly and inform you before finalising the refund.
3) Final Sale / Non-returnable items (Made to Order)
Items from our Final Sale / Made to Order collection are non-returnable.
This includes products that are:

Made to order
-
Produced on demand
-
Custom-finished or custom-configured
-
Ordered specifically for your project after purchase
Once an order is placed for Made to Order items, it cannot be returned, cancelled or exchanged.
4) B2B Orders (Architects, interior designers, companies)
Orders placed by businesses or professional parties are considered B2B transactions.
For B2B orders:

No returns are accepted for Ready to Ship items

No returns are accepted for Made to Order items
-
Cancellation is not possible once the order is confirmed
If special return conditions are required for a project, this must be agreed in writing before purchase.
5) Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Please inspect your delivery upon arrival.
If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

Email info@numahome.nl with your order number and clear photos of:

The packaging

The shipping label
-
The product issue/damage
-
We will review the case and help you with the best solution, which may include replacement, repair, or refund where applicable.
6) Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will confirm approval or rejection.
If approved:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method
-
Original shipping costs are not refunded (unless required by law)
Refund processing can take up to 14 days after we receive and inspect the return.
7) Installation & use (important for hardware and electrical products)
For safety and hygiene reasons, items that have been installed, used, or modified are not eligible for return unless proven defective.
Electrical products must be installed by a qualified professional.
