The Drop Chandelier Mini by 101 Copenhagen is the compact version of the iconic Drop chandelier – a sculptural statement for rooms where you want impact without overwhelming the space. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl, the chandelier’s slim arms and softly curved shades create the feeling of a floating mobile in the air.

Rooted in 1950s modernist lighting, Drop Mini combines a graphic silhouette with warm, pleasant light. The 14 adjustable arms can be rotated and angled, so you can open the chandelier above a dining table or keep it more vertical for a living room, hallway or bedroom.

With an approximate width of 111 cm and height of 54 cm, Drop Chandelier Mini is ideal for city apartments and typical Dutch and Turkish homes – where ceiling height and room size are often more compact than a villa or loft. Dimming: no built-in dimmer; dimmable only when connected to a wall dimmer + dimmable E14 bulbs and installed by a qualified electrician

Material

Lampshades & ceiling cup: 100% iron with plated metal finish (depending on colour)

Pipes & attachment parts: 100% iron, colour-matched and polished

Cable: black fabric-covered cable

Metal finishes (brass, bronze, burned black): plated one or two times, then hand-brushed for a refined, slightly patinated look

All metal colours are protected with a matte transparent coating for a soft, silky finish

Oxidized finish: created with a special acid treatment for a raw, architectural grey surface – small marks and variations are part of the design

This Drop Chandelier Mini is ordered specially for you from 101 Copenhagen’s European warehouse. If in stock, delivery within the Netherlands is usually around 5–10 working days after your order. For Belgium, Germany and the rest of the EU the timing is similar.
